The S.W.E.A.T. Crew is something different! Created in 2005 to meet the demands of maintaining the Appalachian Trail in the deep backcountry of the Smokies, the S.W.E.A.T. Crew is comprised of folks just like you who get together and protect this great American legacy.Go on a S.W.E.A.T. Crew trip and you might clear blowdowns with cross-cut saws, repair sections of damaged trail, or complete any number of tasks vital to the health of the Appalachian Trail.
The A.T. is the first National Scenic Trail, a legacy of wilderness for future generations and because we're lucky enough to have it in our back yard, it's our responsibility to make sure that travelers on the A.T. from all over the world have a great experience.
